Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently in a heavy industrial environment. Expect work on crushers, screens and conveyors, with focus on preventive maintenance and repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints. A high school diploma or GED is required, with technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Background in mining, heavy manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding and equipment alignment.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Safety-focused, dependable and able to work independently.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Technical training/certifications are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs
• Repair/rebuild crushers, screens & conveyor systems
• Install & align bearings, belts, chains and rotating equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Perform basic welding & torch cutting
• Assist with equipment installation, rigging & plant outages
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
