Job summary
The Raymond Corporation seeks an Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our Greene, NY team. You will troubleshoot and program, lead equipment updates, and support the preventative maintenance program in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment at Toyota Material Handling North America.
You will work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics, and document changes in Autocad. Candidates should have a mechanical/industrial/manufacturing background and PLC experience for
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering or 12+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with PLCs (Omron, CJ/NJ, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc) and safety controls.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software.
- Create documentation for equipment and/or training.
- Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment.
- Reading schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic).
- Document changes to schematics/update in Autocad.
- Repairing equipment on an as needed basis.
- Lead improvement projects for equipment updates.
- Support maintenance PM program with technical knowledge.
