Job summary

The Raymond Corporation, located in Greene, NY, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to lead troubleshooting, programming, and equipment improvements in a hands-on, team-powered setting.

This in-person role requires a engineering degree and extensive manufacturing experience; relocation assistance is available and total compensation ranges from $106,880 to $135,000 annually, depending on education and background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• 12+ years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment OR 20+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) and work with PLCs

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software.
• Create documentation for equipment and/or training
• Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment
• Reading of schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Document changes to schematics/update in Autocad
• Repairing equipment on an as needed basis
• Network systems communications through IP address
• Lead improvement projects for equipment updates
• Support maintenance PM program with technical knowledge
• Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals
• Shielding gas type and ratios
• Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
• Understanding of weld fume health impact
