Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking experienced Industrial Mechanics to join our growing team on the second shift in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with the repair, disassembly, and assembly of customer equipment and machinery in the designated area, as directed.

Shift Details:
  • Schedule: 3 days a week, 3:15 pm to 4:15 am
  • Shift Rotation: The workweek consists of 3 consecutive workdays, alternating from Monday to Wednesday one week and Wednesday to Friday the following week. This allows for 6 consecutive days off (Thursday–Tuesday) every other week.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Disassemble, reassemble, mark, photograph, and scan customer equipment and parts for servicing.
  • Provide key data through documented reporting for Engineering and other departments.
  • Follow OSHA and Company Safety Procedures during repairs and maintenance.
  • Participate in the Quality Program, ensuring standards are met.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor for a smooth repair process.
  • Perform press work in various conditions.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience with blueprint and sketch preparation.
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and instructions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Proficiency in paperwork and file management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, twist, or stoop for long periods.
