Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $34.03 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
- Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours: Second Shift Tuesday - Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification or Post Secondary degree preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, AC, and electrical systems (3+ years preferred)
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
- All other certifications as required by location
- Minimum 2 years of experience with heavy and medium duty equipment repairs
- Knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and component replacements
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
- Use Shop Management System and electronic documentation
- Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
- Mentor junior technicians
- Access and use maintenance documents and diagnostic tools
