Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking experienced Industrial Mechanics to join our growing team on the second shift in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with the repair, disassembly, and assembly of customer equipment and machinery in the designated area, as directed.
Shift Details: Second Shift
- Schedule:3 days a week, 3:15 pm to 4:15 am
- Shift Rotation:The workweek consists of 3 consecutive workdays, alternating from Monday to Wednesday one week and Wednesday to Friday the following week. This allows for 6 consecutive days off (Thursday–Tuesday) every other week.
- $2.50 shift differential

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disassembles, reassembles, marks, photographs, and scans customer equipment and parts for further servicing
- Provides key data and information through the use of documented reporting system for Engineering and additional departments
- Follows all OSHA and Company Safety Procedures when affecting repairs and/or maintenance procedures.
- Actively participates in the Quality Program by ensuring quality and meeting standard expectations on all work completed
- Consults with the Supervisor as necessary to ensure a coordinated repair process
- Coordinates and performs press work in portable, horizontal and vertical conditions
- Maintains a clean work environment by keeping all tools and parts organized as the job proceeds through the shop
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) High School is required
- One to three years maintenance experience required, or combination of experience and education may beconsidered
- Experience in blueprint and sketch preparation
- Requires ability to read and comprehend blueprints, sketches and directions
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in units of measure
- Must be proficient in prioritization and maintaining paperwork and files
- Strong analytical skills are necessary including problem solving
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Position requires standing, sitting, squatting, twisting or stooping for long periods
