Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $34.03 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: Second Shift Tuesday - Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm; Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints.
• Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation.
• Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels.
• Support facility maintenance duties and other operational tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty vehicle repairs
• Knowledge of computer systems and diagnostics
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months, pass Ryder’s drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks
