Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to perform skilled maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities in Conroe, TX. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical components within a fast-paced plant environment.

You will work with high-speed equipment, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and automation controls, while upholding strict safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.
• Able to order parts and manage inventory for maintenance materials.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems (Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps, Gear Boxes, Power Transmission, Instrumentation, PLC).
• Experience with automation and industrial process control systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including PPE usage.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on production equipment and machinery.
• Repair mechanical components and replace parts (bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, switches).
• Diagnose root causes by observing equipment in operation and troubleshoot failures.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace as needed.
• Lubricate and clean machinery to maintain housekeeping and PM standards.
• Complete work orders to improve safety, reduce downtime, and enhance plant efficiency.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout and other safety procedures.
• Document repair history and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist in sourcing maintenance supplies and services within budget.
