Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. You will follow all safety policies, perform PM checks, and repair mechanical and electrical components to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires experience with high-speed machinery, MIG/ARC welding, and knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician.
• Knowledge and experience with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls.
• Able to use MIG and ARC welders and order parts, manage inventory.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems including Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Pumps and gear boxes.
• Experience with Automation, PLC, sensors, instrumentation and robotics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Repair mechanical components and replace parts such as bearings, valves, gauges and switches.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes for downtime reduction.
• Maintain maintenance records and manage parts inventory within budget.
• Assist in sourcing and acquiring maintenance supplies and services.
• Complete work orders to improve safety, quality and plant efficiency.
