Job summary

NYCOA in Manchester, NH seeks an Industrial Mechanic/Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations. The role offers a safe, fast-paced manufacturing environment and opportunities to train entry-level candidates.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, be a dependable team player, and willing to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM with potential overtime. NYCOA provides comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred, but right-entry level training is available.
• Able to lift 55 pounds and carry 25 pounds frequently; climb ladders and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment; engines, motors, pumps, vessels, tanks and conveyors.
• Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments; follow diagrams and manuals.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures; disassemble equipment to access parts and replace defective ones.
• Inspect parts for dimensional changes; adjust controls and devices.
• Lubricate, clean, and perform PMs; assist electricians as needed.
