Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial systems, plus hands-on experience with CMMS, blueprints, and diagnostic tools. This is a day-shift position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergency callouts.
• Ensure consistent attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours.
• Capable of managing stress and maintaining productive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure safety standards.
• Replace or repair defective components, such as bearings, gears, motors, and pumps.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production staff to improve equipment efficiency.
• Maintain accurate detailed records of maintenance work performed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
