Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking an Industrial Technician in Houston to maintain and service our manufacturing equipment, install new machinery, and troubleshoot breakdowns. This role supports safe, efficient production with minimal downtime and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a mechanical field, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift rotation, including day and night.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering or related certifications preferred.
• Five years of proven industrial technician experience in manufacturing.
• Willing to work 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts and day/night rotation.
• Own tools required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiar with hand and power tools used in maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for industrial machinery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance with willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Capable of handling stress and maintaining teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery per specs.
• Repair and replace faulty components to restore operation.
