Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician B to support senior techs in a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves identifying and correcting mechanical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of maintenance experience, and preferably knowledge of PLCs and electrical instrumentation. Overtime and rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of PLC and electronic instrument calibration desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours.
• Maintain dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct mechanical problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality line checks.
• Use AS400 to order parts.
• Follow Engineer instructions.
• Oversee B and C technicians.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures for maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet plant goals.
