Job summary

Farmer Holding Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to diagnose and repair industrial equipment, including conveyors and heavy trucks, at Capital Sand Proppants in Friendly, WV. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and teamwork.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical background, experience with heavy equipment and tri-axle trucks, and the ability to work independently or with a crew; CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with conveyor systems, bearings, rollers, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience working on heavy equipment.
• Experience maintaining and repairing tri-axle dump trucks.
• Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems efficiently.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belt systems.
• Replace and maintain bearings, rollers, pulleys, and related components.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify effective repair solutions.
• Inspect and repair heavy equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on tri-axle dump trucks.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
