Job summary

Carrix, Inc./SSA Marine, Inc. is looking for an experienced Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy machinery across our operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure production equipment stays up and running.

The role requires a Class B license, safety certifications, and the ability to work rotating shifts in outdoor conditions, including hot/cold and noisy environments. Strong communication and inventory skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and machinery.
• Must possess a Class B license, Medical Examiner's Certification, and a clean DVR.
• Experience with power and hand tools and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair machinery and mechanical equipment to keep operations running.
• Perform preventive maintenance, follow manuals, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for parts and services.
• Maintain logs of repairs, schedule maintenance, and report issues to management.
• Operate and adapt to rotating shifts and outdoor working conditions.
