Job summary

NABRICO Marine Products in Ashland City, TN is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will install, repair, and optimize electrical systems and production equipment across our barge manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong troubleshooting ability, and experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automation, while maintaining a firm commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and automation.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, relays, sensors, and networks.
• Read electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems.
• Install and modify wiring, motors, transformers, switchgear, and distribution.
• Repair PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, and automation.
• Read schematics and blueprints; follow technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to cut downtime.
• Support upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic/electromechanical systems as needed.
• Develop maintenance procedures and maintain records with accuracy.
• Mentor less experienced maintenance personnel and ensure safety.
