Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Shafter, CA is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support a major distribution center operation. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining conveyor systems, sortation equipment, motors, sensors, VFDs, and industrial controls.

You will troubleshoot failures, read work orders, and complete repairs independently in a climate-controlled facility on the third shift with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience in PLC controlled equipment or conveyor systems.
• Experience maintaining conveyors and sortation systems preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Exposure to Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell controlled equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics; ability to weld and cut using torches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain conveyor and sortation systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Read work orders, troubleshoot failures, and complete repairs independently.
• CMMS experience preferred and safety-focused workmanship.
