Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Oxford Forge in Oxford, MI. The role focuses on ensuring continuous operation of manufacturing equipment through routine maintenance and emergency repairs, with emphasis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, blueprints literacy, and the ability to work with safety protocols including lockout/tagout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably within manufacturing/heavy industry.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical (PLC experience a plus), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in heat/noise.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery, tooling, presses, furnaces, and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Inspect equipment and facilities and implement corrective actions.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams on maintenance needs.
• Assist in training junior maintenance staff when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.
