Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Oxford Forge to ensure continuous operation of manufacturing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment issues. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with production teams, with safety and training responsibilities.

The role requires reading technical manuals, following lockout/tagout procedures, and contributing to equipment reliability

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical (PLC experience a plus), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong safety knowledge and compliance with industrial regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on presses, furnaces, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance.
• Assist in training junior staff.
• Participate in continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
