Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced facility. You will work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical controls, and preventive maintenance processes to ensure safe, reliable production.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in an environment with extreme temperatures and loud equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Must lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Work environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.
• Use multi-craft maintenance to maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
