Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages North America seeks a maintenance technician to repair and install production equipment and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications. You will inspect equipment for proper function and diagnose malfunctions, using your own hand tools on site in a facility with heat, noise, and chemicals.

The role requires lifting, climbing, standing, and possible weekend/holiday work.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems (gear boxes, chains, motors, bearings).
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and reading mechanical drawings.
• Experience with reading product manuals to apply repairs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance charts/data.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair production equipment as needed and perform breakdown analysis.
• Upgrade lines with new equipment/technology and changeovers.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and audit standards.
• Document work schedule and tasks completed.
