Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to repair and install production equipment within our manufacturing environment. The role involves inspecting machinery, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, and implementing repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

The position requires use of personal hand tools, exposure to heat, noise, gas, and chemicals, and physical activities including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and repairs.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Familiarity with PLCs and automation basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair production equipment as needed.
• Perform breakdown analysis.
• Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology.
• Collaborate with outside contractors on assigned lines.
• Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
• Document work schedules and tasks completed.
