Job summary

Venteon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading aerospace manufacturer near Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment, with emphasis on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to identify equipment issues and determine repairs or replacement parts.
• Experience with machine installation and equipment upgrades preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize maintenance activities and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues.
• Repair equipment or identify and order necessary replacement parts.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep machinery in good working condition.
• Install new machinery and assist with equipment upgrades and shop improvement projects.
• Install and change dies and molds in large industrial presses.
• Maintain shop tools and ensure maintenance equipment remains in proper working condition.
• Perform general facility and building maintenance from floor to roof.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop and work environment.
• Support production scheduling by minimizing equipment downtime and responding to maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
