Job summary

Conco, Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a brand-new Scottsburg, Indiana manufacturing facility.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure reliable operations. The role requires hands-on problem solving across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing disciplines, with a focus on minimizing downtime and enabling smooth startup and ongoing operation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.
Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing is a significant plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and components.
Inspect machinery and equipment to identify wear, damage, and opportunities to improve reliability.
Repair, replace, and maintain motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and other components.
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including conveyors and material-handling systems.
Assist with equipment installation, relocation, startup, commissioning, and testing.
Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations safely.
