Job summary

Conco, Inc. in Scottsburg, IN is expanding and seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a brand-new facility. You will install, commission, and troubleshoot electrical systems from the ground up, powering production equipment and ensuring safety and reliability.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires a minimum of 5 years in an industrial setting, with hands-on construction and startup responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to safely use electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, terminate, test, and maintain electrical systems.
• Install conduits, cable trays, panels, disconnects, and distribution equipment.
• Run power to production machinery and equipment.
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot motors, relays, sensors, and switches.
• Assist with startup, commissioning, and operational testing.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and control circuits.
• Document changes and ensure safety compliance.
