Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong focus on safety standards and practices in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to ensure optimal functionality.

About the Role:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of manufacturing and production equipment within industrial facilities. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to implement preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot complex machinery issues. A key outcome of this role is to uphold safety standards and compliance while enhancing equipment reliability and performance. Ultimately, the Industrial Maintenance Technician contributes to the overall operational excellence and cost-effectiveness of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a technical training program or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and practices in an industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance, such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
