Job summary

Linde Inc. in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to plan and perform installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of mechanical and rotating systems, including compressors, turbines, pumps, and heat exchangers.

You will support water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, H2 generators, and piping, and maintain documentation in EAM/CMMS. You will participate in root cause analysis, conduct periodic inspections, and be able to access elevated equipment, with flexibility

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience maintaining mechanical and rotating systems in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repairs of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangers.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance for industrial mechanical and rotating systems.
• Proficiency with using precision measuring devices and performing alignment on multi-train equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls and inspections of mechanical/rotating systems (compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, cooling towers).
• Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, H2 generators and piping.
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work and address chronic asset concerns.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities in EAM/CMMS and support root cause analysis for major failures.
