Job summary

Linde in Delaware City, DE, seeks a Maintenance Technician to plan and execute major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical and rotating systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, proven experience with compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, and moving parts; strong CMMS/EAM documentation skills; and the ability to work off-hours and climb to elevated equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repairs of compressors, turbines, heat exchangers.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance for industrial mechanical systems.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi-train equipment.
• Strong documentation and CMMS/EAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of mechanical and rotating systems and equipment.
• Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, H2 generators, piping systems and related process equipment.
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work and identify/chronic asset concerns.
• Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities in EAM and support root cause analysis for major failures.
• Work independently, make technical decisions, and escalate concerns when needed.
• Perform office work and field work, including off-hours accessibility and climbing to elevated equipment.
