Kloeckner is seeking a Maintenance Technician to drive essential maintenance across motors, conveyors, and production machinery. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, replace parts, and optimize uptime through precise measurements and safe practices.

Collaboration with the team and adherence to ISO standards are required. The role emphasizes equipment reliability, process improvement, and clear communication to minimize downtime while supporting warehousing and material

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years maintaining industrial equipment.
• Experience with pneumatics and conveyor systems preferred.
• Industrial maintenance training or certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyors, and production machinery following diagrams and safety protocols.
• Diagnose mechanical problems by observation and using precision measuring instruments.
• Replace defective parts using hoists, cranes and hand tools; inspect parts condition.
• Inspect used parts to assess dimensional changes using calipers and micrometers.
• Adjust devices and control instruments with hand tools and levels.
• Minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance during non-production periods.
• Fabricate repair parts with machine shop tools and equipment.
• Manage inventories with Kanban and verify receipts.
• Share maintenance information and respond to requests from team members.
• Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing data trends.
• Keep technical knowledge up to date by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Document actions and communicate needs to ensure team continuity.
• Contribute to team efforts and accept reassignments as needed.
