Job summary

Knoll is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced facility. The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safe, reliable production support.

The successful candidate will work with Production and Engineering, read schematics, and document activities in the maintenance system while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to complete machine-specific training.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
Read electrical schematics and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
Document maintenance activities and use CMMS software.
Ensure safety policies, PPE use, and safe work practices.
