Job summary

Novelis Guthrie Recycle Center in Kentucky seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support and drive equipment reliability. The role requires safe multi-craft maintenance and proactive troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, MTTR/MTBF improvements, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure asset reliability. The position features a rotating day/night schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP CMMS for work orders, parts, and time confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per weekly schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to restore uptime and improve MTTR/MTBF.
• Communicate repair estimates and coordinate with departments for downtime planning.
• Support RC/M maintenance processes and 5S practices in the shop.
