Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a maintenance technician in Raleigh, NC. The role involves installing equipment, maintaining mechanical systems, and repairing machines to support production and quality goals.

Responsibilities include setup and adjustments, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Candidates should read blueprints, use power tools, and lift up to 40 lbs; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memo.
• Reads and understands manufacturers' instructions, blueprints, and isometric drawings.
• Safely uses power and hand tools.
• Knowledge of concrete is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Works under close supervision.
• Sets up, adjusts, performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.
• Performs scheduled maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance checks and inspections, reports to Maintenance Supervisor, and takes appropriate action.
• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems and makes corrections to maintain production and quality.
