Job summary

Koch Fertilizer’s Beatrice, Nebraska facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to improve reliability and performance of industrial process equipment. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while applying precision and predictive maintenance practices and identifying opportunities to improve how work gets done.

This on-site, full-time position offers a path to develop skills with industrial drives, pumps, turbines and related equipment, and requires

Qualifications

A.A.S. Degree in a Technical field such as Electro-Mechanical Technology, Automotive/Diesel Technology or Welding Technology.
3+ years of experience in Industrial or Chemical Plant maintenance.
Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Experience with safe work practices – Lock Out -Tag Out (LOTO); Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment to achieve optimal performance using precision maintenance practices.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial drives, pumps, turbines, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, gear reducers, and other process equipment.
Use predictive maintenance technologies to monitor rotating equipment.
Complete welding, fabrication and installs in shop and field to support maintenance needs and capital projects.
Manage daily workflow and work orders using CMMS; collaborate with Operations on maintenance priorities.
