Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair machinery, inspect drives and motors, and coordinate parts and supplies. The role requires hands-on skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and maintenance recordkeeping.
• Preferred: Technical degree, trade school certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training.
• Preferred: Experience supporting CNC machining or precision manufacturing operations.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Preferred: Experience with CMMS.
• Preferred: Welding, fabrication, industrial electrical, or PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and follow checklists.
• Use tools from hand tools to electrical testing devices; assemble, install, and repair wiring, components, and piping.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and repair manuals; determine corrective actions.
• Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other building components.
• Support TPM and 5S programs and contribute to team efforts.
