Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to upkeep production and facility equipment in Orlando. You will perform repairs, PMs, and document actions while ensuring safety and compliance with USF policies.

The role requires basic mechanic skills, welding ability, and the ability to read and write clearly with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior mechanic experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred; additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to all production/facility equipment to ensure machinery is available for day and night operations.
• Review equipment reports, record actions/repairs, and maintain a repair log per USF policy.
• Complete documentation for equipment activities (assembly/disassembly forms).
• Perform PMs (Preventative Maintenance) on equipment and maintain PM log with proper documentation.
• Comply with safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, safe work environment).
• Maintain and secure battery-charging area, batteries and equipment; inventory maintenance and tool area security.
• If authorized, purchase tools and equipment from local vendors as needed.
