Bento Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our food manufacturing team in Orlando, FL. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment critical to production and packaging, with a focus on safety, GMP, and food safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance within food manufacturing, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed. HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years as maintenance worker in food manufacturing.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• HVAC knowledge (optional).

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses and fixes electrical and mechanical failures.
• Repairs and replaces defective parts with hand and power tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on varying shifts.
• Maintain facilities, including plumbing, repairs, and patching walls.
• Read manuals to perform accurate repairs.
• Maintain records of mechanical activities, including work orders and parts inventory.
• Ensure safety protocols during maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Follow GMP and Food Safety policies.
