Job summary

Accelera in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support heavy equipment reliability in a fast-paced plant. You will diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in robotics, conveyors, pumps, sensors, PLCs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities include performing routine CMMS-driven preventive maintenance, calibrations, changeovers, and keeping precise maintenance records.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; trade/technical certificate valued.
At least three years of industrial maintenance experience in chemical/beverage/food sectors.
Robust mechanical and electrical proficiency; able to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, conveyors, pumps, sensors, PLCs, and VFDs.
Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance protocols.
Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication and analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and fix malfunctions across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Perform routine machinery checks to detect wear or failures and minimize interruptions.
Calibrate, adjust, and changeover equipment to meet production targets.
Keep precise records of work orders and maintenance activities in CMMS.
Collaborate with engineering and production to boost machinery reliability and output.
Support setup and integration of newly acquired systems and hardware.
Maintain a safe work environment following LOTO and internal safety guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement and root cause investigations to reduce downtime.
