Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain the Production facility, performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment according to established standards.

You will diagnose breakdowns, set up and dismantle machines, perform daily plant maintenance and PLC-related troubleshooting, and support changeovers to keep production, quality, cost, and safety goals on track.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a science-related area preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in industrial electrical systems (24V–480V, 3-phase).
• Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and troubleshooting control systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping systems.
• Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication.
• Clear English communication (verbal and written).
• Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance repairs and diagnose breakdowns on machinery and production lines.
• Set up and dismantle machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform daily plant and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and related tasks on equipment and PLCs.
• Conduct changeovers and install motors, belts, drives, and other systems.
• Maintain records of equipment performance and downtime; manage work orders.
• Monitor equipment against blueprints and CAD drawings, adjust as needed.
• Report safety and quality issues promptly to supervisors.
