Job summary

Maintenance Technician at Z-Modular - Flatz 480 in San Tan Valley, AZ performs machinery and mechanical equipment maintenance in an industrial setting. You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to sustain production efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Trade School in a related field preferred.
• Must become certified for in-house crane, fork truck operation, and other lift/mobile equipment.
• Some welding experience preferred; prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to stand for 10–12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
• Inspect and maintain engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools to fulfill preventive maintenance requirements.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to plant electrical systems and Programmable Logic Controllers, motors, drives, and relays.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating needed items.
• Attend educational workshops, review technical publications, and establish personal networks to maintain technical knowledge.
• Communicate with supervisors to build positive working relationships and ensure efficient operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per scheduled shift assignment.
