Job summary

Express Employment is seeking a Maintenance Specialist (Levels 1-5) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical production equipment in our Tennessee facility. You will work with Production and Manufacturing Engineering to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and strong ability to read schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (multi-craft preferred).
• Technical degree or certification in electrical, electronics, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues using work orders, schematics, manuals, and operator feedback.
• Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and technical documentation.
• Maintain and repair systems involving PLCs, electrical circuits, and electromechanical components.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and electrical testing equipment.
• Plan and complete repairs independently, including selecting necessary tools and materials.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.
• Train and mentor team members as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
