Job summary

MAVAL is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance activities and keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment. The role requires hands-on involvement with electrical and hydraulic systems, and a dedication to safety and 5S housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot 120V, 220V, 240V, and 480V systems (single- and three-phase).
• Troubleshoot and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and industrial control systems.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain building and facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, doors, docks, conveyors, and other infrastructure.
• Maintain spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Conduct safety inspections and correct hazards.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
