Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to keep critical production equipment in safe, optimal condition across our manufacturing facilities.

You will monitor performance, perform repairs, and support installation and validation of new equipment. The role requires adherence to Process Safety Management, training of staff, and coordination of changeovers while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably extrusion or compression with hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics, electrical systems and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
• Conduct continuous monitoring of production and process equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair from blueprints or vendor specifications.
• Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new equipment.
• Follow Process Safety Management procedures and maintain proper records.
• Oversee equipment changeovers and notify management of issues.
• Train manufacturing employees in proper equipment use.
• Ensure organization of the maintenance area and assist coworkers as needed.
