Job summary

Watts in Germantown, WI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Journeyman to support production equipment and facility infrastructure. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced mechanical systems and work with engineers to commission new equipment.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman certification and 5+ years of industrial experience, including PLCs and FANUC robotics. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes safety, uptime, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in Industrial Mechanics/Millwright or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and perform LOTO, confined space and hot work safely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot CNC-based equipment and mechanical systems.
• Perform precision maintenance on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Repair and overhaul machinery to OEM specifications; align, balance and vibration work.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and FANUC robotics cells.
• Document repairs and participate in PM programs; mentor apprentices as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering to install and commission new equipment.
