Armstrong World Industries in Millwood, WV, seeks an industrial maintenance technician to maintain electrical equipment, process controls, and mechanical systems across our plant operations.

The role supports continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and overall plant performance, performing preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and updating drawings while working a rotating 12-hour shift in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• PLC troubleshooting/programming experience.
• Basic rigging skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, repair, and modify plant electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and perform adjustments.
• Lead plant electrical and mechanical project work.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and calibrations.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Wonderware).
• Maintain plant drawings and logs.
• Safety risk assessments during shifts.
• Work rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
