Armstrong World Industries in Millwood, West Virginia, seeks an experienced maintenance technician to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems across the Millwood plant. You will support process control hardware, troubleshoot PLCs, and improve equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, a technical degree or apprenticeship, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation.

Formación

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent required
• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship preferred
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
• Computer experience and PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Basic rigging skills/experience
• Lean process familiarity (advantage)

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, repair plant electrical and mechanical systems including conveyors, process controls, instrumentation, power distribution, and HVAC
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues to keep operations safe, productive, and efficient
• Initiate and complete plant electrical and mechanical project work, including new equipment installs
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and calibration procedures
• Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley and Wonderware systems
• Troubleshoot Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet networks
• Maintain drawings and logs, coordinate plant maintenance activities
• Assist with planning future equipment and system repairs
• Adhere to daily safety risk assessments and rotate 12-hour shift schedule
