Job summary

IMC-MetalsAmerica, LLC is seeking Maintenance Team Members to join our Shelby, NC manufacturing site. The role focuses on maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring production lines stay online to meet quality goals.

Candidates should have at least five years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of PLCs, electrical/electronic systems, lockout/tagout, and strong teamwork with engineers and operations staff.

Qualifications

Five years' experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery.
Knowledge of electricity and electronics; degree/certificates preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA machine regulations and recommendations.
Experience with machine operation and programming systems.
Self motivation and ability to work with little direction.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC problems.
Perform lockout/tagout procedures for equipment.
Work with engineers, contractors, vendors, and staff as needed to complete assignments.
Develop schedules and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics; provide input and recommend changes on design blueprints as requested.
