Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLC diagnostics, and automated equipment, plus strong problem-solving and teamwork.

This onsite role supports safe, efficient operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience working with industrial controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
Perform PLC fault-finding, troubleshooting, and basic programming support.
Maintain industrial processing equipment, production machinery, and support systems.
Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with procurement of replacement components.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to meet manufacturing goals.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment performance and reliability.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document maintenance activities and track work orders.
