Job summary

Lincoln Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, industrial controls and mechanical systems in a production environment. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Manager, Maintenance & Facilities and requires the ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and repair manuals.

The position involves preventative, corrective and emergent maintenance, installation and setup of motors, transformers, control systems and VFDs,

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electro-mechanical or equivalent experience.
• Must read blueprints, manuals and repair documents.
• Ability to communicate troubleshooting findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergent maintenance.
• Repair AC/DC motors, transformers, and control systems.
• Set up and troubleshoot VFDs and PLCs (Allen-Bradley SLC-500/CompactLogix).
• Read mechanical prints and electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Utilize multimeters, calibrators, data loggers and related test equipment.
