Job summary

WestRock is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a Dayton, NJ area assignment. You will diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic systems, with adherence to safety and OSHA standards.

The role requires PLC programming knowledge and a solid technical school background. Responsibilities include installing, wiring, and starting up equipment, training operators, maintaining records, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be educated through a tech or trade school beyond high school.
• Proven experience in electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans and performs work with knowledge of electrical codes and machine operation.
• Installs and troubleshoots equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains maintenance records and supports other technicians.
