Holland Sharpe Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Florida to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, replace faulty components, and keep machines running with minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate can read electrical diagrams, use diagnostic tools like multimeters, and work safely with power tools. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of 24V through 480V electrical systems and three-phase power.
• Ability to understand and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic instruments such as multimeters and meggers.
• Comfortable operating common power tools, including drills, grinders, and reciprocating saws.
• Strong mechanical ability and familiarity with a variety of hand tools.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to prioritize work and respond with urgency when machinery is down.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on production machinery and supporting equipment.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment, determine the cause of failure, and install repaired or replacement parts.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, facility systems, and building components.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust bearings, shafts, gears, and other moving parts.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical equipment, including transformers, machine wiring, controls, and electronic components.
• Install and service piping, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
• Replace or repair valves, gauges, pressure regulators, and related devices.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and help restore machines to operation with minimal downtime.
• Recognize potential maintenance concerns, communicate them promptly, and take appropriate corrective action.
• Organize assigned work and complete maintenance tasks safely and within the required timeframe.
